You may have noticed plastic bags have been replaced with paper in your recent fruit and vegetables shops? From the 1st of July these retailers were mandated to replace single use plastic for paper.
The apparel industry has been slowly phasing out plastic garment bags over the past decade also, some companies like AS Colour and Gildan preferring to provide “free range” garments for many years. This builds upon our goal to reduce fast fashion and in turn, fast waste.
In future orders, you will see a change in the way we deliver your ProLook uniforms also, some may be free range others packed in our biodegradable bags. These bags are there to ensure your team still receive their uniforms in a ordered and easy to sort manner yet will break down when disposed of vs hanging about for the next few hundred years.
We have also been working on how we can deliver small to medium sized orders and have opted for paper carry bags that can be used multiple times.
We produce these bags and can supply them to your business if this is something you feel would lift your companies image hit us up on sales@prolook.co.nz for a quote.
